A better question: Did VT apply for SEC membership in 2003?


I don't know the answer to this.

But that was our best chance to get into the SEC. That's when I wanted it to happen. WVU and VT were just hung out to dry by the Miami to the ACC news which also invited Syracuse and BC at the time.

If we didn't apply or at least make a call to SEC HQ, it was a colossal blunder.

Could you imagine what could have been?

I fantasize about VT being the only NO vote on Texas to the SEC. LOL
